Graham and Annie - one of the last photos......

This must be one of the last photographs of Annie and Graham together.
It was taken at a Christmas function. Graham died on 26th October 1994 - This photo was taken around Christmas 1993.
Graham would have been 74 years old and Annie was 72 when the photo was taken.

Thank you Richard for sending Colin and Sandra the CD with all of the photographs and information on the Ward, Graham and other family ancestry.

Thank you also for the photograph of my Aunt Isobel and Uncle Robert Murray. My Uncle Robert was my Dad's younger brother who died suddenly in 1986 just a few weeks before my wedding to Colin. They lived in Motherwell all of their married life.

The photo shows my Aunt and Uncle on the left - with Richard's mum Jane and dad in the middle of the photograph.

Graham Ward - Born on 21st November 1919 at 65 Castle Street, Hamilton.
Died 26th October 1994 at Solway Village, Silloth on Solway. Death registered in District of Wigton in the County of Cumbria, England.
Annie Ward - Born 22nd December 1920
Died 21st November 2001 at Hairmyres Hospital, East Kilbride. Death registered in Hamilton.

Marriage certificate :-
They were married on 30th December 1938 at Roman Catholic Chapel, Hamiton.
Graham Ward, aged 19 years of 65 Castle Street, Hamilton – son of Hugh Ward and Jane Graham. Hugh’s occupation was Coal Hewer (deceased). Occupation, Bricklayer’s Labourer, Bachelor.
Annie Currie, aged 18 years of 105 Castle Street, Hamilton – daughter of James Currie, Potato Lorryman and Annie McCluskey (who later married to Henry Boyd, General Labourer)

Catherine Ward

Catherine was married to John Conway and was the sister of Graham, Eddie and Hugh.

Catherine lived in Whitehill, Hamilton.

Hugh Ward

Hugh Ward oldest son of Hugh and Jane Ward and brother of Edward, Catherine and Graham.

Hugh was born circa 1909 and Died (Single) on 24th August 1955 at Hairmyres Hospital.

Usual residence listed as 37 Tuphall Road, Hamilton.
Cause of death listed as Tuberculosis.

Death registered by brother in law John Conway (of 12 Kenmar Terrace, Whitehill).
